“Remember your name.
Do not lose hope—what you seek will be found.
Trust ghosts. Trust those that you have
helped to help you in their turn.
Trust your heart, and trust your story.”
— Neil Gaiman (Instructions)
It might help you understand male psychology if you understand that men see themselves as sexual hunters, like proud jungle cats. They pursue their female quarry through the jungles of seduction and then, with grace and power, they pounce. Then they cling to your leg and whine for the rest of their pathetic lives. Male lions also spend most of the day sleeping. My advice to you, my little gazelles, is RUN like HELL
I don’t want to struggle like my Mom did, so I’m going to do things the opposite at the expense of my heart. Cheers to a comfortable life without all the struggles the heart has to offer.
You can’t expect a relationship to grow without nurturing, just like you can’t expect a plant to grow without water.
In the “game” of life you must always be on top of your game, otherwise you’ll get traded!!
I am afraid of change sometimes, especially when my heart is involved. I have come to the conclusion that I’d rather be comfortable and somewhat unhappy, then take a risk and be the happiest I have ever been.
With that just re-read, I’m “gonna make a change….for once in my life” lol
I asked my Mom, as an older woman, what would be her advise to the younger women in regards to choosing LOVE or MONEY when looking for a mate. Which was more Important? She said you should have your own, but in the end MONEY was more important, because while money won’t MAKE you happy…you can’t do anything without it, and that will be a detriment to a relationship. She is a wise woman. When they say mother knows best, it’s true. I will heed the warning and strong advice.
