I don’t want to struggle like my Mom did, so I’m going to do things the opposite at the expense of my heart. Cheers to a comfortable life without all the struggles the heart has to offer.

I am afraid of change sometimes, especially when my heart is involved. I have come to the conclusion that I’d rather be comfortable and somewhat unhappy, then take a risk and be the happiest I have ever been.

I asked my Mom, as an older woman, what would be her advise to the younger women in regards to choosing LOVE or MONEY when looking for a mate. Which was more Important? She said you should have your own, but in the end MONEY was more important, because while money won’t MAKE you happy…you can’t do anything without it, and that will be a detriment to a relationship. She is a wise woman. When they say mother knows best, it’s true. I will heed the warning and strong advice.
